A single outdoor unit can typically drive 2–5 indoor units, each independently controlled. Larger commercial VRF systems can drive up to 64 indoor units from one condenser.

Modern ducted systems match the efficiency of splits (SEER 6+), but their advantage is aesthetic — they're fully hidden in the ceiling void with slim grilles, ideal for premium homes and offices where visual clutter is unwanted.

Common causes include dirty filters, blocked condenser coils, low refrigerant from a leak, a failed capacitor or fan motor, or a faulty PCB. Our F-Gas registered engineers diagnose all these on the first visit.
